A small business owner for over 30 years, Trudy founded Savvy Tax Chick (formally known as A Personal Touch Accounting) in 2009 and has been helping clients save on taxes and increase wealth since then. She is a Certified Tax Coach and an Enrolled Agent who can prepare tax returns and represent taxpayers before the IRS. Prior to becoming an accountant and tax preparer, Trudy worked for many years with a major health insurance corporation. Trudy’s life work is to help her clients achieve their financial goals.
A native Washingtonian, she has made Oregon her home since 1981. When Trudy finds time for relaxation (which is rarely!), she loves to spend time with her 6 grandkids, family, and friends as well as baking and going to movies and small venue concerts. Hopefully she’ll be able to do that again someday.
Lynette has provided bookkeeping services for our clients since 2015. Prior to joining Savvy Tax Team, she had a long career in medical/dental office management and administrative consulting. Lynette’s attention to detail helps us keep our clients’ books exact and ready for Trudy’s expert tax preparation. Whether you are starting your QuickBooks from scratch or need to get caught up on years of tangled paperwork, Lynette welcomes the challenge to get your systems in place.
Lynette was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and enjoys spending time with her family, yelling at social media posts, making needle crafts, and watching British murder mysteries.
Jolyne and Trudy have been associates for many years. Jolyne has worked in accounting for over 45 years and has been a tax preparer for 15 years. She has a working knowledge of small businesses, retirement accounts, and rental properties. She loves putting everything in order and seeing positive end results. Jolyne is a member of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians on the Oregon coast and can help native American Tribal members from all Tribes worldwide to solve tax issues.
Jolyne is a native Oregonian and loves reading mystery spy books, beading, and playing with her great grandsons when she isn’t whipping numbers into shape.
Cameron has been part of the Savvy Tax Team since finishing high school in the spring of 2020. He helps in keeping the office run smooth. His long-term goal is to step into Trudy’s shoes when she is ready to retire – many years from now. He is studying now for his tax license.
Cameron loves to play basketball, drive fast cars, and look good doing it.
